I think I finished my computer upgrade.
Here are the specs so far

Well... I had to take car to Jack Carter to get my OnStatr unit fixed. First my power steering, then I get my windsheild replaced, and now my OnStar. Maybe I should get my annual service done a little early just to be safe. Oh well... it's under warranty so no biggie at the moment.Current Mood:  awake |

Well, last weekend was good. It was Colleen and I's 2 year anniversary. I took Colleen to the Metropolitean Grill for dinner. I gave Colleen a diamond necklace as her gift. It was all good.

Well yesterday was my birthday. I went to the Cattle Baron with my folks and Colleen. If you read my previous post, I was awake for 40 hours straight because of a certain someone. I was pretty much a zombie all day.
Usually, I have a get together on the weekend with friends. I have decided to not to have a birthday get together this weekend. I've been too tired since Tuesday to plan anything, and it would be such short notice now to do anything at this point. I keep thinking to getting something planned, but my gut feeling is telling me not to this weekend. I'm following my gut, and not have anything planned for this weekend. Everytime I think about it, it's telling me not to, so no get together this year. I've been busy with work and getting the Creston trip planned. Now that I fallen behind on sleep, I have no energy to plan anything.
Reasons why I'm not having a get together.
1.) I'm too tired at this point to plan
2.) It's too close to the weekend to plan anything. Chances of people coming would be slim due to such a short notice.
3.) Most of my friends can't make it at all
4.) and If I plan anything later, there would be no point.
5.) No place to go. Colleen doesn't want anywhere that has smoke, and neither do I.
Sorry, I'm not having a birthday bash this year. So I'm just gonna celebrate it privately this year.
All I'm going to have is just get together with Chris, and that's it. Unless you're willing to come on a later weekend? I suppose that would work. I'm just too tired to think right now.

Time for another post.
Work:
Work has been good. My training has been going well. So far, I've had 2 staff dinners. I'll located at the new offsite West Canadian office in Chevron starting on Wednesday. Today, I left work early because my stomach was feeling ill. I take the train to work. I thought I would get away from it, but I guess not. A long as I don't have to take the bus, I'll be ok.
Weekend:
Colleen is taking ballet. Being the super nice boyfriend I am, I decided to pay for all of her ballet gear. She picked out what she wanted, and I bought them for her. We went to three dance places. I'll be taking piano lessons next week at Saks Music in Braeside. Now Colleen will have her own personal pianist.

Impala:
I racked up 2200 KM so far. It sure needs a washing. I'm gonna upgrade the speakers and add an amp. I don't have the optional Bose Premium speakers in my car.

I am so tired!! I have to work by myself for the next few days. No one there to help me out, so it's going to be tough. Survive Sunday and I'm off for 4 days... yay! I can finally figure out all the funky gadgets my car has.

It took a bit longer to get my car. The courier was late in getting my licence plate. Fuel economy isn't all that great at the moment because the engine needs to be broken in still. It smells brand new too. It has a decent stereo for a factory system. It produces decent base for a stock system.
Time for bed. I'll be driving to work tomorrow. No more train for me... except Stampede time. Parking would be pain then.

In 30 minutes, I go to Jack Carter to pick up my new car. I get picked up by the salesman, and he'll be taking me to my brand new car. I'll make a better avatar once I get the car. Yes, I'm excited. It's been a long time. I can now have my own set of wheels (functioning wheels... unlike that mustang I had sitting the garage.)

Well... *takes deep breath* ahhhhhhhhhhh... well...... hmmmmmmmmm....
It has happened. I finally done it. I got a brand new car. Yeppers... I got myself a 2006 Chevy Impala LT. It has power everything, MP3 CD player, flip and fold seats, dual climate controls, etc...
I pick it up on Thursday. GMAC pays for the first two payments, and I pay in August. It pays to be a Sait or U of C Grad for sure. Because I'm Sait Alumni, I get discounts on car and a 50% off discount on insurance. I go through TD Meloche Monnex for insurance.

I am so tired. I start working 12.5 hours shifts at Sundog. I was standing all day today. Fortunately, I had a rental car with me which made things easier for me. It's a 2006 Mazda 6 from Enterprise. It's a nice car. It's nimble and lots of power for a 4 cylinder. I have to return it back tomorrow. *sigh* I'll be going to Jack Cater Chev to pick up my $100 cheque and check on that 2002 Impala LS that I test drove last week.

I went to Otafest today. This year was a lot better than last year. I finally met ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) taeha for the first time which was nice! I also saw alym0use, I also met haotian which was nice too! I spent most of the time at the Artist Alley. I bought Colleen a little key chain. I bought the Picture Book made by taeha. It has lots of good illustrations in here, and Taeha drew a sketch of me on the back page! :D It's so awesome! They're so awesome! If only I can get my scanner hooked up. I have some pics too... let's just hope that there's enough battery power to transfer the pics to the computer. And.. there is.. score!!

Seeing them made me get back into a drawing mood. Of all the otafest I've been to, this was the best one so far. I saw alym0use there, and I got to meet taeha and haotian. It really did make my day. :D

Well... i'm desparate to find a guest for tomorrow night. I'm going to the North Hill News Profit Share party tomorrow night. I told them that Colleen and I would be there. Colleen can't make it for reasons that are beyond her control. Yes... we are still together!!
If I don't find a guest by tomorrow evening, I'll will be deducted $30 from my paycheck. This is to pay for the plate of food that wasn't eaten by the guest. It's so stupid! I asked everybody I know and no one is available! It's all because 52 people showed up when the company paid for 80 meals last year. I'm so pissed off!! I wouldn't be pissed off if there was no $30 penalty. Stupid company policies. I'm desparate to find any guest!!
This seriously pisses me off that they have to do this. I'm don't beleive I'm doing practicum with this company next week. I ready to quit that place because of their stupid policies regarding company events and other things.
Life pisses me off!!
